SDHuntLink started as a solution to a problem. My family owns land in Faulk and Edmunds counties, and we get a lot of calls from people wanting to hunt. We like having the hunters out here, but taking all the calls and managing all the scheduling started to take away from my work as a software developer.

Then I had the idea, what about an online scheduling solution, where people can look at the calendar, see what dates are available, and make reservations, all without me? Maybe a sign in the yard with a QR code to save me some interactions? As I was designing it I realized there were probably other landowners who would like it too, so I built it with more than just me in mind, and SDHuntLink was born.
